I OFFER THREE BASIC SERVICES:
1) "Elvis E" appearance/show: I have competed in Elvis contests in Branson, MO, Baltimore, MD, Dewey Beach, DE, Buffalo, NY; performed at the Night of 100 Elvises charity event in Baltimore, the Elvis Birthday Bash at Dr. Dremo's Tap House in Arlington, VA, Hometown Holidays and Out to Lunch Wednesday in Rockville, MD and Live! on the Wilson Plaza in Washington, DC. But mostly, I appear at private parties, receptions, corporate functions--anywhere where The King is needed.
2) Karaoke operation: I have a complete karaoke system with a 10,000 song library on hard drive--every song imaginable from every genre. You can have this event with Elvis E for no extra charge.
3) Oldies DJ: I have been doing record hops for the better part of the last 30 years, coinciding with my long career in radio as a disc jockey, including some major market stations in the Washington, DC area. Events I play include sock-hops, poker nights, bachelorette parties, but, again, I can play any type of event. My specialty is "classic oldies" from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s, with some 90s and a few recent hits. [I do not, however, play rap, hip-hop, club, ska, indy, alternative or big band.]
I can provide these services individually or in combinations. For example, you could hire me to run a four-hour record hop, with an Elvis E appearance three hours into the event.
MY LOWER RATES (CONTINUED):
Due to the tremendous response to my new lower rates, I am continuing to offer a savings of $30 on any gig. Rates start at $130 for a 30-minute 'Elvis E' appearance, $200 for one hour, going up from there. If you have a sound system, I will provide a CD with the tracks I will perform. If you don't have a sound system, for no extra charge, I will provide a personal P.A. system good for a small- to medium-size venue and a crowd of 150 or less.
If your event requires my full sound system, I charge a reduced hourly rate for a minimum of three hours. This will get you any combination of Elvis E/karaoke/record hop for up to three hours.
Note: There is an additional $40 travel fee to cover gas, if the distance to your event is 50-99 miles from my home base of Potomac, MD; $70 if over 100 miles away.
If you book me through my preferred booking agent, Gigmasters, rates are $10 higher than if you book directly through me. But, I pay the Gigmasters finders fee*.
Elvis E now does "singing telegrams", 15 minutes or less, including 3 or 4 songs for $100. Unfortunately, I cannot travel over 50 miles for these. For the singing telegrams, I can bring one speaker for audio, or I can sing acapella to the guest of honor.
DEPOSITS
For events at least 14 days in the future, I require a deposit equaling approximately 25% of the total event fee. For example, for a 30 minute $130 Elvis E appearance, the deposit would be $30. If it's a one-hour $200 Elvis E appearance, the deposit would be $50. If it is a three-hour $400 gig, the deposit would be $100, etc.
If you book my services via e-mail or phone, once an agreement has been reached on the details for your event, I will provide you my mailing address. You will then be required to pay the deposit through 
(Send Money to elvis_e@comcast.net) or by sending a money order, cashiers check or personal check for the deposit to me in order to reserve your date. If you book my services through Gigmasters, you will pay the deposit through them in order to reserve your date.
REFUNDS
Once a deposit has been received by me, if you need to cancel your event for any reason, I will return 50% of your deposit up to 30 days prior to the date of the event by sending you a check in the mail. There are no refunds within 30 days of the event.
